Deep friendship develops in the context of work or play or association when we start to regard people from a different point of view.

What have you been thinking about? What would I like to share with you?

Good learning friendships have a common belief in the ultimate best teacher, God's love.

Then there is freedom in topics as well as learning places, indoors and outdoors. Early and late. I religious places and very worldly places. and methods, from oral learning to reading to watching the beauty of nature.

I have learning methods that have worked for me.

Have you found methods that work for you

Might be sitting in a car driving,,,in a boat or cruise ship…an hour or two of silence as you drive…sitting in a deer stand, duck blind, stadium seat..sewing group…watching a sunrise or sunset…over breakfast with a husband or wife…in a class with 30 other co-learners who can disagree and still learn together…worshipping with people who sing amazing grace and knowing that you just bailed someone next to you out of jail last night for DWI…sitting for four hours in a boat fishing all night and catching nothing.

It’s not about proving someone right and someone wrong, but proving that all of us are weak and need the strength of good friendship. Proving that all of us can learn from all of us.

These friends can refresh each other in good times and bad by searching for the opportunity to be together in conversation and support.
