Unless you know the heart of a father you will not understand his expectations for his children.
He expects his children to love each other deeply from the heart. That may seem understandable.
What about someone who killed your son. Would he expect you to love him? That who our father in heaven is. He loves each of us regardless of our condition because that is who he is.
There was a rebellious criminal who died next to God's son. He couldn't move his hands or feet but he could move his heart and mouth. He admitted he was getting what deserved and said to the Lord remember me when you come back.
He was told, "Today you're going to paradise with me."
Our father loves people and wants to set them free to live in paradise with him forever. You will never understand the father's expectations for his children without knowing his heart.

Romans 5

5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and [b]we celebrate in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but [c]we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous person; [d]though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified [e]by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved [f]by His life. 11 And not only this, but [g]we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

 7.1- In times when the world seems upside down. In perilous times. People love themselves more than their family or their country. Those in positions requiring generosity are found to be selfish hoarders. People supposed to be humble servants are boastful. Where there should natural affection for family and friends it is absent. These times include men of God being exposed as phoney predators and liars. These call evil good and good evil. What can we do to find a place to stand?
