2.5--Jesus loves people that others do not love.

Tonight on the news I saw a woman who had an autistic child who needed help.  His favorite time and place had been on Sunday at church.  He could stand and be free there and people would love him.  Then the minister called and told his mom that he couldn't stand during services because it distracted everyone.

Later they found a church that welcomed him.  The minister said we are the people who represent Jesus and He loved all kinds of children.  The young man who had autism and his parents went to this church and now Sunday at 10am is the young man's favorite time of the week.

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
