2.7-God promises great things to people who surrender all to Him.

Jesus makes promises.  He promises if we let go of things and release our things to Jesus that He will give us a new kind of life.  Eternal life.

Release to Jesus the control of things and will lose some things, but you will gain more.  God is a Father who provides for His children.

Mark 10.
28 Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”
29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
