2.9-Clydesdale Horses Under the Control of small reins.

2.9-
Writing on the ground. That is what Jesus did and perhaps that is what my writing is. Writing on the ground. Maybe it will allow me to think better and pray better.

During the two years of the political campaign for President I tried to write nothing regarding my opinions about who people should vote for. I personally did not vote for any Presidential candidate because my conscience would not allow it.

Now over two months after the election the campaign bullying and threatening and foolish behavior continues in the White House and in the Congress. I’m fed up with all of this foolish behavior.

Jesus interacted with national leaders. He told a national leader putting Him on trial that this leader was not actually in charge, but rather His Father in heaven.

When a leader is converted to Jesus something happens.
They become meek. Meek is not weak, but it is power under control like a massive Clydesdale horse who teams with others under the control of a small set of reins.

Powerful men who come under the control of Jesus are not bullies. When powerful leaders claim to have surrendered to Jesus but use their power to frighten others they are not following the example of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus controls a leader He is
Gentle.
Non threatening.
Building people up rather than tearing people down.
Non boastful.
Never commending themselves but rather seeking the commendation of the meek and gentle Jesus.
Humble.
Patient.
Pure in heart.
Wise.

I will never cease to pray for my country including the people in the White House and in the congress. At the same time I will challenge myself and them to change and align our lives to follow Jesus Christ if we claim to be Christian.

Matthew 5.5
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.
