Regarding family
Choices have consequences. .They show priorities. If you don't listen to your spouse, someone else will.
Regarding work.
Show up. Be there. Really be there. Stay off your phone except for work.
Tell the truth or nothing at all.
Be a bit early or on time and work hard and smart and be willing to go the second mile.
You will have good chance to succeed with the American dream.

Colossians 4

4 Masters, grant your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; 3 praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; 4 that I may make it clear in the way that I ought to proclaim it.

 6.10- The Power of Keeping a Confidence I have a close friend who started listening to my confidential words 46 years ago. He guards his lips and preserves secrets and deep friendship. He does not speak rashly. He doesn't add shame to the bad things l have experienced. He reduces my burdens by his grace. He has good judgement regarding when to speak and when to remain silent. This gives him good long term friends and deep joy.  4.1- What did Jesus have 264,990,000 of that we, the average American, has 610,280,000 of? Yesterday I was honored with a lovely pre-Easter dinner hosted by Jeff and Donna Wishard. We enjoyed a time of worship, dinner and relaxing fellowship in their beautiful, redesigned back yard. It was one of the most joyous, peaceful evenings I have ever experienced in my 77 years of celebrating Easter. I'm so blessed. When we are relaxed and decompressed we absorb the very best feelings from each other. Easter is about the same time as passover. God provided that a lamb would be given as a sacrifice to to take away the sins of his children. Christians celebrate Easter as the time the Jesus breathed his last breath, approximately, 264, 990,000 at age 33.(22,000) per day. Between now and my last I plan to live in Easter hope in each breath. Jesus was in the tomb after his last breath about 2024 years ago and three days later he was resurrected to be alive forever with all of God's children
