Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

 8.9-   When we have compassion on someone it is natural to do what we can to help them. God is a God of all comfort and all compassion. When our Father in heaven sees a need, in His children He does what He can to meet that need. He would not do something that would not benefit His child. Some things are not His will. Jesus prayed one praye to his father that the answer was "No Why? because the lamb of God dying on the cross for the sins of all mankind was a part of the plan of redemption from before the foundation of the world. Wnen Jesus got there He prayed. If this coup cup could pass please. This cup of suffering and separation from His father for the first time. "But your will be done." The suffering, the cross and the resurrection of Jesus and the hope for all of God's children was the plan. Luke 23

 8,6- God is love. If we love God we must love other people. 1 John 4 7  Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.  8.5- There is no evil that is out of reach but a come to our senses and return home is never out of reach. There no gone that is too far gone for a spiritual recovery.  8.4- In January, 2012, I decided that with God's help I would answer the question on fb every day. What is on my mind? 35 months ago today Sheila went to be with her creator. The beautiful red haired beauty i met on ACC campus was picked by Jesus to be with him. We were more different than any couple we knew well. I was country, she was city. I was North Texas she was South Texas. She was nice and quiet in public spaces. I was loud and talkative everywhere. She thought why? I thought why not? We had passion for each other from the beginning to the end. Our marriage was not perfect but were were perfectly in need of God's grace, mercy and peace daily. I heard a man say about marriage, "The world's view of marriage is that you marry the ideal.Then you see the real deal and it becomes an ordeal.then you go looking for a new deal" Jesus teaches a man needs to leave his mother and father and be united with his wife, in one flesh. 8.3- Yesterday I heard about a man who owned five auto dealerships who claimed to be a Christian. There a famous Senate Chaplain, Richard Halverson. This dealership was known for bait and switch selling. Cheating people on prices and being the most crooked dealer in the area. There was a meeting in D.C. and the dealer Chaplain were seated together. In convention hall. The dealer was trying to impress the man of God. "I'm giving away a New Testament with each new car i sell. What do you think of that?" Halverson, known for being very truthful. "I think it would be good if you read that book and quit being a crooked businessman."
