Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

 8.21- Attitudes of arrogance, conceit and boasting build walls so that people will not feel comfortable to share their real needs for prayer and support. We are taught by the master to associate with people who are real, down to earth and sincere. This rubs off on us and helps us to hearn from them. ] There has been more trouble caused in family life by those of us who approached every problem with some know it all solution instead of humbly listening. We have been taught be quick to listen and slow to speak. What a powerful helper we can be if we learn to be an attentive listern with patience, kindness and gentleness. Romans 1. 28  Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.   29  They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips...

 8.20- It's pouring rain. God is kind to provide this needed gift to all people. Okra, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and pickles need water. . Once I went to a café and ordered, fried Catfish, Okra Sweet potato fries The waitress said. "You want fried water also ?" Rain grows peaches make Peach cobbler. Have yall eaten missippi mud cake? Thank you God for rain and good food and your kindness. Acts 14 14  But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting:   15  “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you.  8.19- If we suffer for doing wrong things that is normal and teaches us to stop doing that. Murder or even anger and hate are not proper for us. Embezelling, shoplifting and all stealing causes fine, jail and other trouble. Mature people we are taught to not even be "meddler" or "busybody in other people's business." God help us to Stay in our own lane. And Keep our eyes on your own paper. Let us Be quick to hear and slow to speak. I need to quit judging people start loving people instead. Now if we do right and get suffering for doing right then we can have joy in that suferrig. 1 Peter 4 15  If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.   16  However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.  

 8.18- Compile a list of individuals you know who possess a genuinely cheerful disposition. They are not shallow. They intentionally reach out to the poor. They are strong as an anchor weight. They are not extremists to the right or left. They maintain a cheerful heart regardless of the weather. The business atmosphere does not impact their cheerful hearts. They meditate on Scripture day and night. They are like a tree planted by a river of living water. They love God who wipes away tears. They love people who are flowing with tears.. They are healers. They are good medicine for the soul. Such a delight to be with them. Proverbs 17 22  A cheerful heart is good medicine,      but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
