12.29-Death can be pain and joy.

12.29-Jesus teaches that movement of a child of God through death is somewhat like a birth.  Birth into the life in heaven with God.  There is grief and anguish on earth, but joy in realizing the person has made it home.


John 16.
21 Whenever a woman is in labor she has [m]pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a [n]child has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
