4.18- Whatever you need

 4.18-

Whatever you need is what you should give to others.  I heard this from my friend, Tim Rush, tonight on a devo and he is so right.

What you need is what others need and you can give it to them.  Thinking of what you are missing is a good time to think of others who might be missing this and give it to them.

Galations 5.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who [k]belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also [l]walk by the Spirit. 26 Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

 8.26- God expects His children to forgive people who say they have repented and to do so over and over. He certainly is a forgiving God. He has great love and patience with His children. He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah. David and others had powerful conversations together.  The poetry of the prayers and the drama is developed through dark times of pain.   Jesus, famous sermon on the Mountain that gives the basic tenets of his way of life is set up to encourage the poor and suffering who are under attack of very difficult times.  We don't have a prayer problem as much as we have a comfort problem.   We want to be disciple of Jesus without any times of discomfort.  This is not possible because learning by its nature is a discipline  A man heard a great performance of a famous musician.  He came to compliment the man and said, "I would give my life to play like that."  The man said, "That is what it has cost me is my life."  A resear...
