 9.22-

Weakness is an opportunity to receive.  Jesus teaches it is more blessed to give than receive, but it is a blessing to receive also.

Those of us who love to study the word and teach it also have times of weakness in our lives.  We need to admit this and allow God’s help and He uses His children as a channel of blessing to us.  A call. A card. A text. A gift. Sheila and I have a good friend who sent us this little comforting blanket.

Three little prayers answered in one little brown box at our door.

Help! Wow! And Thank you!

How is it that God knows just how and when to deliver things into our lives that we need.  He is omniscient, all knowing.  He hears our cries and tears.  He knows the gifts and such that are in the hearts of His children and puts good ideas into hearts at the right time.

I have started to believe more in God incidence instead of Coincidence.

 8.26- God expects His children to forgive people who say they have repented and to do so over and over. He certainly is a forgiving God. He has great love and patience with His children. He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah. David and others had powerful conversations together.  The poetry of the prayers and the drama is developed through dark times of pain.   Jesus, famous sermon on the Mountain that gives the basic tenets of his way of life is set up to encourage the poor and suffering who are under attack of very difficult times.  We don't have a prayer problem as much as we have a comfort problem.   We want to be disciple of Jesus without any times of discomfort.  This is not possible because learning by its nature is a discipline  A man heard a great performance of a famous musician.  He came to compliment the man and said, "I would give my life to play like that."  The man said, "That is what it has cost me is my life."  A resear...
