High standards. The teacher said that mercy, justice, clean water, food and clothing for the poor are more important than rules about giving God 10% of your dill pickles but you could do both.

 4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
