Behind the lines Intelligence. What is taking away life and hope?
There are people who get discouraged with big problems they deal with. A couple of men who think no one cares decided to get out of their senior care center and moved their senior scooters out to the street corner.
A lady who is full of courage and hope decided to reach out to them with her beautiful spirit and saw them. Noticed them. These guys were seen.
Then she made some cookies and grabbed another beautiful 80 year old recently widowed lady and took the warm cookies to them.
These guys may have served the country and given their prime years thinking no one cares. Placed in a spot out of sight and they could have assumed that the lovely world had no lovely people.
Then for them a warn hearted woman brought her adventurous friend. She took the warm cookies out of the warm oven out into the baked Street corner and refreshed the old soldiers.
Life isn't just changed by big institutions. It is changed by deeds of kindness. We don't need just AWAC's plane long distance criticism of how dark things are. We people to light a match.
These warm hearted ladies changed these two guys that day. You can be a salt and light change to your workplace today by your joyful service. Let's do it.

The Excellence of Love

13 If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may [a]glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.

4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. 5 It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, 6 it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 it [b]keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of [c]prophecy, they will be done away with; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we know in part and prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with. 11 When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I [d]became a man, I did away with childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror [e]dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known. 13 But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the [f]greatest of these is love.

 8.16- Confidence is a good thing. A well trained Olympic athlete is very confident. They train four years or longer for this moment on beam and fall down the beam or fall of the beam. They fly off and miss the uneven bars. Knowing they cannot win a medal. They have messed up and gone off the horse. What do they do? They get back on the horse. They finish their routine with a confident smile. They do not let that failure define them. Our life is not marked by a failure unless we allow it to be. The choice is ours.  8.13- If we want to be a helpers of people who are lost, confused and living in chaos it is critical to balance our lives. We need to separate from people who are overly afraid. We need much time with people who are not confused and who remind us to not be afraid. We also need time away from all people to rest and refuel in the countryside, gardens, beaches, lakes, mountains and places of restful sleep. At the right time we will have mental, emotional, physical and especially spiritual energy to lead people to settle down, chunk problems down to size and overcome. Then we can pray for wisdom and give thanks for being a part of the positive change from confusion and lack to peace order and abundant provision.
