The reality is that all of us are adding to the darkness or the light by the way we live. Some people are in positions of great responsibility and therefore when we get off track it has a greater negative impact. Our home, community and nation would be better if we could keep our values where people are more important than money and power. When we see someone treating others in an unfeeling and callous way it is clear that this is not the way of love.

Psalm 119.70

Their hearts are callous and unfeeling,
    but I delight in your law.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
