When we need rest it is important that we get it. Otherwise, our weakness leads to lack of focus, alertness and more defeat Lack of joy, which our secret power as children of God, does led to herd mentality instead of creative thought.
This drift will lead to more low energy and lack of restance to bad thinking. People have had exceptional victory days and then amazing low points surprisingly and suddenly.
So I remind myself today:
Rest when you should.
With God's help you can do some good.
A day of complete rest will convince us that God can run the world without our activity.

2 Corinthians 13.

11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. 13 All God’s people here send their greetings.

 9.2- There was this grasshopper who appeared to be very old and very wounded. He drug himself along. Where he was amazed me. On the ground level at the gas station near Gordon Texas was dirt and oil and the danger of feet and tires. As I pumped 39.30 worth of fuel I wondered how did he get out of the dirt and danger to the safety of the top of the gas pump? As I get older I sometimes feel I am dragging along like a grasshopper. My spirit is fueled by seeing how my life includes my maker providing safety for me by the help of family, friends and strangers. Two such are my nephew, Lynn And Sheri Luttrell. He is a prof. at ACU and she the owner and leader of stepping Stones school. Got to spent two days of fun, 42 and homemade ice cream last week.  9.3- I have been given a bed to go to sleep in where a window is high and laying on my back I can see the moon at times. Flat of my back I can choose to think of the maker of the moon.
