8.12- Did you ever wonder why life gives us difficult people

 8.12-

Did you ever wonder why life gives us difficult people or irregular people wherever we go. They are sandpaper people always seems to create friction. They always find something or someone to criticize.
We need to be active and fresh in creative thought.
This morning I was reminded of a famous story.
Henry Nevinson's 1913 essay, “The Catfish,” describes an ancient English fishing practice that involved introducing catfish into tanks of codfish to keep them healthy and appetizing. Before refrigeration and iceboxes, fishermen had difficulty transporting fresh cod to market because the fish were lethargic and became limp and flabby in tanks, making them unappetizing. By introducing catfish, their natural enemy, the codfish were kept alert and remained healthy and appetizing.

2 Corinthians 12.
Because of the extraordinary greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to [b]torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast [c]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in [d]insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
