Not true.
The truth is that it's impossible for him to lie.
All of his promises come to pass.
He has promised his children eternal life and so we have hope in every situation and circumstance.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
