It's been said if we know the why then we can endure any how that comes our way.
Purpose in life is important.
The tragedy written on a tombstone, "Here lie a man who went out of this world not knowing why he came into it."
One great world changer wrote, "i know whom I have believed and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day."

2 Timothy 1
12 For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him [h]until that day.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
