Everything I learned about money from this world has to be re-considered in light of Jesus' teaching.

1.       Money can easily tempt us to betray people and later be filled with regret.
2.       Money is a great servant, but a poor master.
3.       Money can easily become a ball and chain to imprison us.
4.       Money given is no measure of whether one is generous or not.
5.       Money cannot be an ultimate value to people who believe in life after death.
6.       Money in the hands of religious extremists can be used in very foolish ways.
7.       Money focus instead of a prayer focus is extremely bad for followers of Jesus.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
