9.11-It is quite easy for politicans and all of us to be actors, hypocrites. We must be careful. Let's worship God.
9.11-
This week our readings remind us of who Christians follow. Jesus Christ. A high majority of elected officials in the USA claim to be "Christians". This means they claim to follow Jesus Christ. What did He teach about the competition for money and power?
Luke 12.
2 1-3 By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other’s toes, numbered into the thousands. But Jesus’ primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, “Watch yourselves carefully so you don’t get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness. You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. Bring a gift of laughter,
sing yourselves into his presence.
3 Know this: God is God, and God, God.
He made us; we didn’t make him.
We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.
He made us; we didn’t make him.
We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.

5 For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,

loyal always and ever.
