I give my taxes to Caesar, but my soul goes to God. In the ways that my God directs I will give proper honor to a my government unless it asks me to do something different from my calling from God. I will pray for those in authority that we may live a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. That is all.

Matthew 22:21

The Message

21 They said, “Caesar.”

“Then give Caesar what is his, and give God what is his.”

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
