Thought for the day:    
Jesus is reminding us that the way we can serve Him now is by serving the poor. There are poor people in our hometowns and when we serve and help them, we make Jesus rejoice.

He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
