Diane Foley believes God is good. She is a mother who saw her beloved son beheaded. She had a chance to meet the man who did it.
She said yes she would like to meet him to communicate to Alex that she saw him as a human being created in the image of God.
Cullum Mosely co-wrote the book, American Mother. She sat down at the table to change the script from hate and violence from vengeance and more hate to a story of grace, mercy and peace. Indeed it is true that an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.
As she approached the meeting she prayed God would be with her. She said that the transforming power is the goodness of God.
I'm remembering today that Good Friday has changed the script from hate your enemies to love your enemies.
She said that belief in the goodness of God was a superpower. The empty tomb proves forever that this is so.

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

9.4- Broken eggs. I had been warned Don't try to carry too much in from the grocery store at once. Learn the hard way or the easy way. Why does the only thing that falls off is the most fragile?  9.2- There was this grasshopper who appeared to be very old and very wounded. He drug himself along. Where he was amazed me. On the ground level at the gas station near Gordon Texas was dirt and oil and the danger of feet and tires. As I pumped 39.30 worth of fuel I wondered how did he get out of the dirt and danger to the safety of the top of the gas pump? As I get older I sometimes feel I am dragging along like a grasshopper. My spirit is fueled by seeing how my life includes my maker providing safety for me by the help of family, friends and strangers. Two such are my nephew, Lynn And Sheri Luttrell. He is a prof. at ACU and she the owner and leader of stepping Stones school. Got to spent two days of fun, 42 and homemade ice cream last week.
