The love of parents for children and children for parents is a beautiful thing. This develops an atmosphere of security for children to step out and not be afraid to try new things. They know they are resilient and failure is not fatal or final.

Ephesians 5.

22 Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church [q]in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. 28 So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; 29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, 30 because we are parts of His body. 31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.

9.4- Broken eggs. I had been warned Don't try to carry too much in from the grocery store at once. Learn the hard way or the easy way. Why does the only thing that falls off is the most fragile? The carton was crushed. Several eggs were broken. I have learned to keep looking when a little frustration comes to stay alert. Some good can come out of something bad. Getting laid off from the wrong job can lead to the right job. Getting bumped from the wrong flight to get the right flight, five minutes later plus a free flight.  9.2- There was this grasshopper who appeared to be very old and very wounded. He drug himself along. Where he was amazed me. On the ground level at the gas station near Gordon Texas was dirt and oil and the danger of feet and tires. As I pumped 39.30 worth of fuel I wondered how did he get out of the dirt and danger to the safety of the top of the gas pump? As I get older I sometimes feel I am dragging along like a grasshopper. My spirit is fueled by seeing how my life includes my maker providing safety for me by the help of family, friends and strangers. Two such are my nephew, Lynn And Sheri Luttrell. He is a prof. at ACU and she the owner and leader of stepping Stones school. Got to spent two days of fun, 42 and homemade ice cream last week.  9.3- I have been given a bed to go to sleep in where a window is high and laying on my back I can see the moon at times. Flat of my back I can choose to think of the maker of the moon.
